(KHOU-TV via WFAA-TV_ Itasca, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas school superintendent was arrested [Tthursday] on accusations of online solicitation of a minor for sex. 47-year old Itasca ISD Superintendent Michael Stephens was among 7 people arrested an undercover online child sex sting operation. Harris County Constable Alan Rosen says Stephens had been under surveillance for months while he unwittingly communicated with an undercover officer posing as a teen. He was arrested in front of Itasca High School Thursday afternoon.
